'Ello, loveys!

Writing is my refuge, my stronghold, my safe-haven. 

It's where I go when life is messy, my thoughts are jumbled, or my heart is restless. 

Sometimes I hide behind my writing, my characters, my poems and my prose, in a desperate attempt to hide from the pain.

Other times it is where I release and share my happiness, my exhilaration, my joy.

Although I usually write for myself, and know I am by no means a skilled writer, I want to share a few little things that I am not too timid or uncertain about.

My hope is that through YOUR comments, input, and ideas, I can develop myself to a place where I can share deeper things with others, lessons learned and life experienced, that may in some way help them.

My hope is that somehow, someway, what I write may matter, may help, and may heal.

I am a Christian.  I'm repeatedly prone to messing up, but am eternally thankful for Christ's continuous forgiveness, as well as His always outstretched hand, ready to help me up when I've fallen.

Boy, that sounded dreadfully prim and proper.  Once ya' get ta know me, y'all will discover I'm anything but!
