            darling , you shouldn't have ! that's the nicest thing i can think of -

darin , i can't shake the fear . the resistance isn't gonna save a targeted planet , they already couldn't and i trust them but you and our family are all i have left . i don't know what to do cause i can't just stay in the house forever and . . . * his voice starts to shake * i dunno what to do anymore and that's the worst part . i used to be so sure of facing fears , of running head on in but i can't with this .

            i wish i could soothe this fear . all i can say is i know it happened before , but the resistance is trying to stop it from ever happening again . i wish i could do more than just be there for you whenever possible .

i'm terrified everytime i leave the house . everytime i leave the planet and you're still home , i have a distinct tinge of pain telling me not to leave you because someone could take you and our home from me at any moment . 

i hate everything sometimes , knowing it could have been me . remembering my dad and i were arguing just hours before , that i didn't even tell my mom i love her the last time i visited . now they're gone .

some over confident first order official . i'm just . . . my parents , my siblings , all those innocents ? they didn't do anything wrong . they were living their lives , being happy a lot and just within in a second , everyone was gone for no reason other than the selfish actions of a tyrannical regime set on taking everything from those who oppose them .
