Ok, here's the 2 new ideas:
My Peter Parker idea includes a few one-shots to add more depth to the main story that takes place after everyone forgets him, and he promises the reader that he'll find her again, already knowing that she won't believe him, and that it'll be difficult. Months go by, and he's finally in a safe enough place in his new life where he can go up to her. He's really scared to try, but he's also waiting for the right time so he doesn't come across as crazy/creepy to her, and they kinda go through a "fall in love all over again" story. Still working on the meat of the story, because right now I only have thoughts and vibes (but, I mean, what else is new). I think I want the main issue to be trafficking and bring Katherine back in, and a drug that takes away powers like Peter and (y/n)'s, but it has more deadly effects.
My new idea is a Jack Frost x Cupid!Reader. I think I want to make her Scandinavian, but I'm not an expert on the culture and am afraid I'll get something wrong and offend people by accident. In the story, it starts about a decade or so after Pitch was defeated, and the Guardians notice a massive decrease in love and compassion in the world, which has actually been steadily falling over the past century. Now, they need to find the reader, aka, Cupid. After searching for a while, they find her angry, bitter, and done with love. She's been hiding away in a cave for the last 120 years and refuses to tell them her reasoning for doing so. While she doesn't hate Jack, their personality just don't mix at first, and it creates tension between them. They have to fight a fellow spirit while getting her bow and arrows back from a magical realm to stop the world from getting worse. Along the way, they learn about her past and the real reason she's hidden away for all those years. I want to make a new villain, but I'm having a hard time coming up with one that doesn't feel like another "Pitch Black" in different fonts and colors.
