Last 2020, I wrote an Octonauts fanfiction on my first Wattpad account that I deleted the following year. I wasn’t happy with that story anyway for, like, 100 reasons, so I got rid of it. One of those reasons is that I made it too gory, and led up to torturing the characters and nearly killing one of them which was ridiculous lol.
I still remember the story in my head though, since it was my first Octonauts stories, even the tons of evil OCs I made there I still recall XD.
You guys got any tips or advice for rewriting a story that I completed already? This is my first time rewriting one, so your advice would be pretty much appreciated. :)
@GlideForwardWTracker Write the overall rough first-draft so you have the skeleton down. Then instead of worrying about the whole story in rewriting, focus on sections to make sure they're to your liking. When you get all sections done and complete with where you want to take your story, connect them all and look at the whole draft now to make sure each scene and event transitions and circles around nicely. Hope that helps. Don't get stressed with the whole story, just work on one section of rewrites to make it it easier and more focused.
