Who am I?
I am a human
But my humanity is not my only identity
Jesus is my ethnicity
Christ is my culture
Grace is my heritage
I am defined by Love
It is a love that knows no boundaries
For there is no oblivion where He hasn't filled with His presence
There is no void where His voice is not heard
He alone spun time from a single thread
He alone spun our being from a single breath
His divine power echoes to the deepest depths
And His faithfulness shouts to the highest heights
What captivates the sun?
What comforts the wind?
What quiets the waters?
What melts gold?
What calls out to my soul?
It is God
Who am I, but a stone
Carved from the womb of earth
Yet His Love knows my name
And no darkness nor light
No fall nor flight
Can make me less precious in His sight
He is the king that sings over me
He delights in me
He holds me
He covers me with radiance
I am clothed not in silver nor gold
But in blissful glory
This is who I am
I am a human
But my humanity is not my only identity
Jesus is my ethnicity
Christ is my culture
Grace is my heritage
I am well defined, I am truly loved
