Some people have a problem with me calling humans - grey. Honestly , humans are born imperfectionists they make mistakes and that is what is grey. How does grey equate to evil? Lol. Now, people who learn from their mistakes walk towards divinity and those who don't walk towards hell. Pandavas were humans ( yes divine as well ) but they're noble only because time and again - they showed mankind what it takes to walk towards the divine accepting and rectifying their flaws. We worship them because with all the human emotions and flaws, they walked a journey that we revere ultimately making them devas ( or maybe realizing their true self ).

And for those who feel I'm hate Pandavas and Draupadi. I have no words. They are my grama devtha...lol. Literally Sri Draupadi Amman Sametha Pancha Pandavas Abhishekam takes place every year during the Pongal in the name of my family ( it is a sheer blessing indeed ). That is the first temple we visit during Pongal which marks a new beginning for us. The main preist of the temple is our family priest who walks in every homam , every occasion at home :p We are blessed that every year , we are fortunate to be a part of one of the Draupadi Amman's kalyanam as well. Damn the memories <3

p.s i'll miss it when I'm in abroad.

@GildedLotusInk exactly! And tbh I don't wanna see them like incarnation of someone (not disrespecting vyas maharshi). Because more than half of them are incarnation of some devta out of curse, it kinda gives me the faint thought like human life is a curse! I don't want to see it such a way... Mahabharata looks more raw and realistic when we think that they were humans too. I love that way!

@GildedLotusInk In my view, be it Mahabharata or today's era of kaliyug All humans are grey.. mixture of goods(whites) and bads (blacks). No one in this world is ever perfect, they can't be..

Evolution changes people — it’s gradual, inevitable, the unchangeable law of life. But what unsettles me is seeing those I once thought unshakable in their wisdom begin to fumble in their steps.

Perhaps it’s the weight of their circumstances. Still, I’ve always believed wisdom doesn’t fade so easily.

My amma often says, “If you have good health and good character, no low in life can break you — you’ll always find a way to rise again.” I hope time shifts in their favor soon, that this storm too will pass.

This morning, I met a few friends before I leave for abroad. Among them was a school friend I had long admired — her wisdom, her clarity, her calm. She had that rare instinct for knowing when to speak up and when to ignore, holding a perfect balance. But today… the change in her struck me hard. For the worse. And I’m still trying to process it.

p.s lol , I have some leisure time only for the next few days before I'm fully packed :p This leisure time I feel I'm spending on futile things.

My own personal favorite pandava is Arjuna. Yes , I love the others but my favorite has always been him.

From childhood, I was fascinated by the student in him. His passion for learning was enthralling. Fierce passion , unwavering focus and strong dedication. For a little girl dreaming of her future career , he looked like a hero...kind of idol.

But since my teens - I read deeper. Other aspects of his personality that broadened my understanding of him as a person.

I relate quite a few things with him and one thing is his immense love for his family. He is the typical father character in today's world who would do anything if it meant his family was happy and safe.
Sweat , blood , tears , introvert with their emotions...staying away and working for them.

Childhood heroes are always favorite to the heart and soul.

It’s been years since I last spent my time fighting or clarifying things on social media. Back in my teenage days, I got caught up in it—especially in discussions (and arguments) about Indian epics. Looking back now, I see much of it as wasted energy.

Today, I’m not here to give advice, but to share an experience—especially for the younger ones. Social platforms are only becoming more powerful with time. They can be a boon or a bane; the difference lies entirely in how you choose to use them. Never let a platform control your thoughts or manipulate your beliefs. And above all—never stop thinking, no matter what anyone says or does. Getting influenced or not about anything should entirely be in your power - your choice to make.

Let me be candid again—every character in the Mahabharata is grey, except Krishna and his Shaktis, of course. What makes the Pandavas “Devas” is not merely their divine origin, but their ability to learn from their flaws and rise to the occasion when it mattered. The same goes for their wives—human in their imperfections, yet unshakable in their strength and their stand for what was right.

In the epic, Arjuna’s flatters to cause pain to his elders who wronged him and his family, Bhima says he would burn Yudhishthira’s palms, Yudhishthira lashes out at Arjuna recklessly in the war , Bhima almost drinking of Dussassan's blood ( he didn't ) , Yudhisthira playing the dice game —and the list goes on. These are emotional tides, nothing more. One moment, one situation, does not define any person as good or bad. Every human being is layered - choices, mistakes, learnings, and redemption.

Of all , the Devas themselves make flaws but they are divine only because they relentessly come back to the path of Dharma.

Always look at the full arc— circumstances , emotions ( pre and post of the actual incident ) —before you form your own thoughts. And most importantly, make sure those thoughts are TRULY YOURS ❤️

Interpreting and understaning our own thoughts at times , we have no clue. Born in the human race , Interpreting epic characters is often in perspective of the individual. Most times its to " stress " their own favorites significance and most comfortably the process is to " put down " other characters. Honestly its my perspective - Sri Krishna Vaasudeva is the hero of the mahabharata and his shakti ( in multiple forms ) sustaining himself and the epic ( likewise for Krishna doing the same to his shakti's ). Rest every character is grey ( shades vary offcourse transforming towards good and bad ) , everyone had their own journeys. We often relate to the grey characters , idolize them and it's quite natural given we ourselves are not fully noble. People and their stances...fine but fights , manipulation sorry interpretation...lol waste of time and effort.

But now that you are editing the series I have a request, can you please add some of Karn secens with Suthanu and Bhanu, specially with Subhanu trying to convince him not to side with adharm i.e Duryodhan. I feel like it would be fitting since in your story Subhanu are the human avtar of Surydev and his wives and Surydev is the celestial father if Karn, which in a way makes Subhanu his parents and as we all know that it's every parents duty to stop their kids from choosing the wrong side. I really want to see how that convo goes between them. I would really appreciate if you consider my request. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story.

Thank you for considering.

@wescola_forever hey dear ! That's absolutely a beautiful thought. Let me see if I can fit that in somewhere :)
But given the distressed daughter that Suthanu is after the dice game, I don’t think she will ever take a chance to talk to him. Because he is one person who initiated the vastraharan...but nevertheless if she does stand at a road in which he stands. It is even for me to imagine what the conversation will go like.

Hi di, I love reading Pandavnandini Trilogy alot. I came across this masterpiece this year only and have revisited it multiple times already. But everytime I enjoy it like, it is my first time. The way you have woven this story, these characters and depicted their side of the story in a new light, in way which has never been shown before( atleast I haven't seen it) is just so beautiful. The way you have shown the Pandavas and even Duryodhan as not just warriors, but as sons, husbands and most importantly as fathers, Yudhishthir's guilt over what happend in dyut sabha and the war itsefl( specially in today's time where people think that he did not feel anything), Duryodhan as not just an unhinged villain with no humanity but as someone who was misguided, mislead and that he indead had a moral code however twisted it was he did have one, while not whitewashing his sins but at same time also giving a better understanding of his character, defiying one of the biggest misconception today's gen have and clarifying that Mahabharata did not happen because of Draupadi, but to establish dharm, to avenge the victims and stop all the monstrosities that were happening and every possible attempt were made to somehow stop the war, it was just incredible. One of the many things that I loved about your story, was how you focused more on the impact and aftermath of certain events like the dyut sabha and the yudh on both the once that were involved directly ( Pandavas, kaurav and their family) and indirectly (the common people). I loved every bit of it.
