So my cat managed to snag a Cardinal.... and heard it squawking, so my mom decides to take it in and like, see if it’s hurt and all.
We decide it’s okay and try to set it on a tree, Cardinal starts to fly and glides over and touches ground.... SO MY DOG BD SNATCHES IT UP LIKE HES A FOX! We sprint after him till he drops it and miraculously, the birds still alive.
Note, I’m in a night gown and slippers, running after a dog.
This birds still alive, so we put it in the fenced in garden we have and put another tarp so the cat won’t get it. This poor bird got snatched from the sky, gnawed on by a cat, brought in by humans, set free by humans, tried to fly away and got snagged by a dog... and it’s STILL alive, it’s in the garden rn!
We even have this little porcelain bathtub with water set out there for it until it gets better....
Absolutely..... WTF
