Hey all! It's been a hot second, but I just wanted to give an update, let you all know what's been going on, all that wonderful stuff!
          	
          	First off, I took a decently sized break/hiatus from writing all together. I realized I was getting a lot of burnout and it was leading to chapters being shorter and less good overall. That's not the kind of thing I want to be putting out, even if this is just a hobby. I want anything I post to have effort. My stories have been on my mind 24/7 since taking my break and I constantly feel bad for stepping back to take a breather, but I feel it was necessary for me to return with a fresh set of eyes, so to speak. I'm currently trying to ease my way back into writing. It's been kinda hard to get back into it after postponing for so long, but I have been chipping away at chapters little by little and hoping I get my groove back.
          	
          	The second issue is less fixable and just something I will have to begrudgingly accept as part of this space from now on. A lot of my motivation, aside from my writers block and burnout, has been siphoned from me as the usage of generative AI for all art forms has become more and more prevalent. I'll just be real, it has made me not want to post ANYTHING creative on the internet for the past year or so, and I KNOW I'm not the only one who feels this way. Generative AI is a plague and the death of creativity. I will never, and have never, use any form of genAI in any of my projects and I am completely against the use of it from others as well. People using it has genuinely made me want to quit both writing and drawing, both things I do for the fun of creating and as a hobby.
          	
          	I love you guys and I hope to post something soon.

Take your time!!! I’m so glad you’re taking this break, and it’s alright to feel burnt out. AI sucksss in general, but people won’t listen. Personally, I appreciate things made by people, gives it character and realism, not this algorithm bullshit. Anyways, I hope you’re doing well! We all love ur work and u

@Chris5461 I'm actually soooo obsessed!!! Its the book is LITTERALLY my baby. I woke up and brushed my teeth than immediately went to read the last chapter. You describe everything so well, It's like I really am there. It's my comfort book :3.

@kittynboots2008 No idea, thankfully it hasn't happened to any of mine yet but people on the Wattpad Reddit have been mentioning it. Now I have to back up 64-ish drafts into my Docs.
