I run down the steep hill which looks as if it has no end. I can't go left or right very much because the edges of the road have roadside stores. Right behind me is a giant creature with a big mouth, rounded teeth separated across the mouth and sticking out of their mouth, eyes so far apart they're on the side of their head, and little arms on their side that move one at a time to help them move fowards. They appear hairless and their mouth opens like a puppet. They chomp at the ground and whatever enters their mouth disappears.

This thing is horrifying and I'm in no mood to be eaten. I panic more and more the farther down the hill I go because I seem to be making no progress at all. I'm just about to give up, but then, another creature like the one chasing me pops up from the left out of no where and opens its mouth wide. I trip inside and it chomps down on me.

I'm inside it's mouth. It chews me up until I'm in little bits and there's only my head left. The tongue moves me to the back of its mouth and down it's throat. The fall feels like forever and I crash into the walls of the throat until I see an opening at the end. I'm pushed down the hole and fall into a pool of goo and pain. The stomach's acid burns my bits and skin. And I fade. I can feel everything though I can't see. Then, the stomach growls and begins to bubble and pop, its boiling. One of my arms feels a wall of the stomach and I try to push away despite no longer having eyes.

When I push it away, I still feel the acid burn and heat my skin, but the air feels cooler. I open my eyes somehow and find myself in my room in bed. It was just a dream, again. A fever dream this time. The wall of the stomach was just my comforter and it's wrinkled up at the foot of my bed. I eat a cracker on my nightstand and drink from my waterbottle to wash it down.

The relief I feel when it opens with ease and a breeze of cold air rushes through me and makes my hair fly in the air. But when I look out past the door, there is nothing, but darkness. I am floating in the abyss. I look down and the fungus has taken over the entire building. I, however, remain untouched. I take a breathe surprised how I'm not out of breathe.

Then, I feel some thin and smooth wrap around my waist. It gives me an ick and I scream. It's a wooden cane with a hook, it's coming from inside the building. It drags me into the building with immense speed and I try to break free. I look over my shoulder to see where it's dragging me and it's the other hall that turns pitch black after a few steps. The fungi encircles me as I fall into the pitch black.

The fall wakes me up in suprise. It felt like I really was falling. I'm covered in a pool of sweat, but I'm safe in my comfy bed. I'm really thirsty.

I'm running through a long, dimly lit hall with people who appear to be my classmates. Some of them are people I don't know or talk to. They all look panicked, but speed past me. I glance behind to see what we're running away from. Fungus. The hall is being eaten away by quickly growing mushrooms and darkness.

In the halls, we pass multiple doors with an exit sign above. The person most ahead uses the extra time they have to try to open one of the doors, but struggle. In what seems to be in no time, we all pass them, and they fall into the darkness. Leaving only a shriek that echoes and shakes the hall ahead.

This pushes me to keep moving forward more than I ever had before. I try to take larger and farther steps to get as far as I can. Somehow, I pass every single one of the them. I glance back to see how much I had progressed, but when I do, I'm alone. I'm the only one left; everyone of them has been swallowed up by the fungus and the darkness. Fortunately, the fungus almost looks meters behind me. I'm a safe distance, but I'm still not safe.

I look up ahead and notice the hall ends and leads to another facing the other way. I reach the intersection and look down both ways. The rest of the hall to my right goes on for about a dozen feet and just ends. Its pitch black that way. I look down the otherway and see a glowing door with an exit sign above it. I run that way like I had did before. The farther I go, the longer the hall seems to stretch. I hear the echoed screams from behind; the fungus is nearing.

I don't look back and ignore it all. I try to repress it as I notice the hall has stopped stretching and I get closer and closer to the door. The screams, however, shout into my ears, agonizing me, overwhelming me, trying to pull me in. I push it all the way back and push against the exit door as hard as I can. (1/2)

After some time, we leave the tunnel and we're racing in the public streets. The other racecars catch up and try to pass us. Choas erupts as the other racecars crash in traffic and explode. This goes on for some time, with sparks in the air, screams of terror arise, the adrenaline and fear of dying and being in the middle of it all.

Everything almost looks like a blur.

A racecar on fire zooms across the street right ahead of us and leaves a trail of cloud and smoke. The driver mashes on the pedal and we drive right through it out of the commotion. When our view clears from the smoke, we are the lasts one left; and we're unharmed.

The driver looks back at us in the backseat and suggests we go around the city before taking first place at the finish line. Before I can think, the person next to me shouts "HELL YEAH!". The racecar immediately swerves and tilts so much, I thought it would've fallen over. We turn a hard left and enter into the brighter, busier streets with all the stores, restaurants, malls, and more. Almost resembling the Los Vegas strip.

We swerve left and right and left and right at every corner of the street. Then, we see the finish line right up ahead. Glowing strong and bright in glory. The driver pushes the pedal and the person next to me and I are pushed against the seats. As we near, the same silhouette of the women at the starting line is standing at the finish line. She has flags in both of her hands and she waves them in the air like she was cheering us on. The driver is just about to reach, but something is very off. The women with the flags in not moving from her spot and we are almost about to run into her.

Before I can say a thing about it, we reach the finish line, and the windows become stained in red streaks and the world turns black and grey. Everything turns into a blur.

My eyes blink open and I see the ceiling of my room with the morning light bleeding in through my window.

I get elbowed by someone right next to me. I look to them and they are handing me a helmet. I can't tell how they look because they have a helmet on with a racing suit in black, red, and purple colors. I take the helmet from them. I look down and notice I have one too. We're both in the backseat of a racing car and there's a man in the front looking at us and giving us a thumbs up. I look out the small window next to me and see another racecar next to us; we're on a race track. It's night out with the road being emitted by overhead lights. Far past this area are skyscrapers with a futuristic looking style, like cyberpunk. I peek and see the rest of the track past the front seat. The race is about to start.

A women walks through the checkered starting line right in the middle. Her face is blackout by a strong shadow despite the bright lights around us. She rasises a flag high. The racecars around us start up with their engines growling so loudly. I put on the helmet to block out the roars of the engines. A light above starts to blink red with a beep.

It flashes orange with another beep.

The light turns green with a higher pitch beep but we don't rush foward to speed past the starting line. The women swing down the flag and all the race cars fall through the ground. I scream as our race car turns horizontally and I finally notice we have no seat belts. I look to my right to see if my company is horrified, they have their arms in the air as if this is a roller coaster. The race car hugs the walls with it's wheels. Up ahead, there's a ramp that puts us back in level. Once we're back in level, we zoom past everyone and we're driving through a large tunnel. (1/2)

This is Not a Coma

I'm going to send 3 dreams, 2 of those dreams are real dreams I've had and the 3rd one is a fake dream that I made up. I want you to read each of them and tell me which you think is real and which is the made up dream. Then you have to explain what made you think that dream was real or fake.

I know some of you would rather not do that, but listen. You don't have to; however, this is important for me to know for my book TINAC. If I let people tell me what dream seems real or not, it will help me write other made up dreams that appear real, have a good understanding of dreams and how they work, and know what I need to change in my writing.

The way you can explain is with the use of imagery (the way things/setting are described in the dream), word choice (words that show mood or tone), and perspective (is the dream written in a personal perspective). These will help me understand what is needed in my book. It would be very appreciative if you share your thoughts.

I will share which dream is real and made up in a week or 2 or depending on how many participate.

This has taken too long to come, but I'm glad school has finally ended. I won't be able to see my friend for some time, but at least we're going to the same high school next year. Choosing classes for next year was hard, I don't know what to do. I'll miss the secret path I took from my school to my house. My high school is in the opposite direction heading north. Maybe I could go through the path during the summer while heading to the bookstore. While everyone else is rushing out the doors of the middle school, I look around to see if I can find my friend through the crowd. I see him! I wave my hand in the air as high as I can, hopefully he looks this way and sees me. I try to push through the crowd and get towards him, but he looks another direction and runs off. I guess he's in a hurry.

          Titali

Times up. A chime rings into my ears and a pop up alerts me, reminding me that the testing time has ended. I'm not finished, yet; several questions were left unanswered. English isn't my best subject. It's so hard to understand the language. Why is the l in salmon silent, cant it just be taken out? Why are some letters pronounced differently than they're supposed to? I will always speak my native language and have a difficult time in this class. I don't care if I fail this class. Sure, I'll have summer education, but no matter what, I'll always be sent to the next grade. What a weird school system this orphanage has.
