I'm a 7th generation Appalachian and a veteran of the phenomenal Foxfire Books founded in the north Georgia mountains.
I graduated from Rabun Gap Nacoochee School in 1973, then became self employed in the house cleaning business.

My book," It's Not My Mountain Anymore" shares first-hand accounts or real mountain living and the impacts of change both to the landscape and its inhabitants.

Dad once said, "The time will come when you'll have t' lock your barn at night." That time has come.

Taste the harsh realities of change that clash harshly with memories of a passing era.
