Chapter Thirty-Four is out ^^ you don't have to read Leafnose Part One first, but narratively i think it's best read after the last chapter.

*It must be fun being able to spend time with kits so often,* Daisyfrost thought, a little regretful that she didn't have an excuse to be around them too. *Everything is always more fun and hopeful when there are kits around, and any trouble they give is always worth it to see them grow and learn, and to see them smile and enjoy life.*
*I envy them sometimes, so innocent and worry-free.* She thought back to recent events, filled with blood and death and the devastating loss of kin, then to less recent, ever present events of the past; Creamnose suffering in silence, Birchwhisker's tired eyes despite his cheery demeanor, Smalltalon's carefully plastered smile as self-doubt hurricaned through his mind, the subconscious feeling of loved siblings who Daisyfrost would never meet, but had always been spoken of with the deepest sorrow and love.
She caught herself frowning as she remembered.
Then the sight of Stormkit and Maplekit playing by the medicine den reminded her of the present.
RiverClan was still by the lake, but seemingly dormant in their influence, and Birchwhisker was still gone, but the edge of losing him had begun to soften.
Creamnose was still troubled, but trying to heal, Smalltalon still hid away, but opened up more and more with each passing moon, and Daisyfrost still felt a gap in reality where Snowpaw, Larkkit, and Bluebellkit were missing. But it hadn't felt like they were following her just out of sight for moons now, encouraging her to survive — not now that she was a warrior, and could keep herself safe.
*Kits make everything a little brighter, they reassure us how strong and long-standing the Clan is and how it will persist long after its current members are gone.*
