Frank Mabry grew up moving from place to place as his father served in the Marine Corps. When his farher retired he finished school in Cincinnati Ohio and immediately joined the Army and went to basic training, infantry school and aireborne school in Ft. Benning GA. after graduating those courses Frank E Mabry served as a paratrooper in the OPFOR unit the 1st of the 509th for four years. after serving his enlistment he got out only to enlist in the reserves changing his specialty and attending combat medic school in Ft. Sam San Antonia and completeing nursing school in Ft. Gordon GA. upon graduating the course Frank Mabry was reassigned the 629th FST and served in IRAQ traveling to such places as Balad, Baquabah, Babylon, Ar Najef, and Kirkush. After coming home Frank E Mabry set out full filling his life long goal of writing a novel when he published The 3rd Rise in 2012.
