HAPPY PRIDE MONTH GUYSS WOOO!!! <3 i can miss my birthday but i will never miss the opportunity to wish happy pride month! :’)
THANK YOU FOR 400K READS ON TCOFIL OMG THAT’S MIND BOGGLING!!! <3 Also, question, how does everyone feel about me taking down tcofil for editing? I was rereading it last night and it’s an absolute mess of chaos. I cringed a little, but I’ve grown since then and I’d love to add new layers of my current writing style and fix all the grammatical mistakes. The only sad part would be that I’ll lose all the comments on specific paragraphs and that’s the only thing holding me back.
I read The Picture of Dorian Gray two months ago and came out as a different person. I swear it altered my brain chemistry. I’ve been feeling so inspired and so moved by the book — that I’ve been writing like crazy the past two months, obsessively drafting and outlining story ideas, editing old poems and just letting words take over me. It’s wild how a book can drive you forward or influence you in such a way. Anyways, just felt like rambling about my new favourite book. I’ve been in the mood to read classics as of late so I picked up The Bell Jar. I’m reading it at a snail’s pace but the writing style has me in a chokehold and I love the overall setting/tone of the book. It makes me wish I came up with those clever sentences. I think I want to read lots of classics this year!
@runahem this book has a way of festering your brain like no other!! every time i think about it—i simply just want to create. i dont mind the random jumping if its to talk about my fav book haha no worries! : D have a good day!
@Fizaxbieber had to write this when i saw the mention of Dorian Gray, I am midway through the book but I think I get you, it is inspiring and mind boggling to say the least, Henry's peculiar personality actually makes tou think and think and think, would try the Bell Jar you mentioned as well so yeah, sorry for randomly jumping here <3
this year is coming to an end but you need not to sulk. there’s so many things waiting for you. how about you take a deep breath? you’re not in a race and you won’t get left behind. you are more important than what you give yourself credit for. all your efforts till now have contributed to something and even if they didn’t, don’t beat yourself up over it!!!! i’m so very proud of you for coming this far. look at you!!! i’m always rooting for you, okay? you got this! <3
@Fizaxbieber Thank you! It's great to hear that after i failed my internals :') Wishing you a great year <3
