My favorite poet is Robert Frost. I grew up in a small town. I love music, moments, and antiheroes. I'm sixteen. My favorite phrases are "an inordinate amount" and "extenuating circumstances." I believe in great loves and great love stories, but a great love story doesn't mean you have a great love, and a great love does not require a great love story. My favorite genres are mysteries, post-apocalyptic thrillers, and the kind of stories that follow the plot of "hate each other until you end up banging on the kitchen table." I write for two reasons: I want to create stories that I identify with, where the characters are relateable to a wide range of people and the plots make you question if the love story you think you're reading is the kind where it lasts or if it's just for a second, and it ends like life does, not with everything answered, but enough so you feel okay in the end.
I also write because I want to inspire people to believe in who they are and to realize that you don't have to be a part of societal norms to fit into a crazy chaotic world. Just do me a favor and don't kill anyone.
