His head was bowed, eyes down, studying the carpet.
"Is that what I look like when I look at you?", he smiled, still staring at the ground.
She leaned forward, bowed her head too and pressed it against his.
"That's how you look at me sometimes, yeah...", she whispered.
He raised his head, let it fall all the way back, staring at the ceiling, then he chuckled softly letting out a sigh.
"Well, at least now I know why Irina was livid...", he glanced at her again, shaking his head baffled, smiling.
"I could say sorry, but I'm not. That look is how I know what protected feels like... it's my home, that look of yours.", she smiled back, then she quickly spun her chair back to the screen again so he wouldn't see her tearing up.
