Unpopular opinion but I hate fireworks. My dog is terrified of them and they've already started. Bonfire night isn't until the 5th but those fireworks will be going on for days before and days after. All I can do is sit with her and give her cuddles while she sits there scared, shaking and panting. I really wish silent fireworks were made mandatory. You still get the pretty lights and colours, but none of the noise that make dogs like my Rosie, other animals and humans panic and suffer because of the loud noises. It's not fun at all. :(

          In honour of the spookiest day of the year, the first chapter for The Devil In Me (my ff for The Conjuring) will be published tonight!

I was going to update Haunted as soon as I was done with this new chapter, but I've decided against doing that.
          
          I'm going to keep it in the drafts for now, and write new chapters for all of my published fics and work on 2 unpublished fics and 1 draft, and then have a day in like 2 or 3 weeks where everything is updated on the same day.
          
          The stress of constantly updating my fics and worrying about my writing being good enough (a lot of the time, I don't think it is) puts me off from writing, and that's honestly why I've barely been publishing anything new. But I'm hoping that taking my time and writing at my own pace will hopefully allow me to start enjoying this hobby more, and with a bit of luck, updates might start to pick up a pace a little bit (no promises though).  :)

I've actually written something today for the first time in forever, so Matching Wounds might actually get updated at some point in the (hopefully) near future
