Emerald Green

I am an aspiring writer. Writing actually became an outlet for me whenever I feel happy and especially when some things became too much to handle. At a young age, I started with writing a diary everyday then it stopped and was replace by a habit of writing poems when I became a teenager, I also became an avid reader of novels ranging genres from Romcom, tragedy, classics, thrill, fantasy. I love authors like George R. R. Martin, J. K. Rowling, Sabaa Tahir, Stephen King, John Green, V. E. Schwab and many more... but one of the authors that I really hold dear and inspired me to become a fanatic in literature is Edgar Allan Poe, there is always something sad, tragic and beguiling in Poe's stories and poem. It just really gets to me HAHA. His modern counterpart author, I have to say is V. E. Schwab and Sabaa Tahir if you have read Vicious and An Ember in the Ashes series then you know it's impossible to put the book down or maybe this is just me being a nerd in literature but anyways that's me and the authors I'm thankful for introducing me into this amazing world of literature.
