I started writing during University in beginning of 2000s. It was mostly extra-short stories (up to half A4). Submitted some of them to a local competition and two of them got published, one of them even translated into Norwegian and published in some local readers digest there.

But then I finished Uni and started working. Moved to Russia, got married, got a kid, life was running as fast as it could. Work included lots of business trips around Russia and Europe, traveling around took a lot of time. It was during one of those long flights that I wrote a story. Just like that, out of the blue. I loved the tone and idea that was behind it. But again, life took charge and I forgot about it for some time.

Then covid hit. You all know what it did to all of us. It gave me more home time than I got used to and mind started to wander again. I started developing the ideas that I had. The story from the airplane quickly grew to something I haven't expected - I now have an outline for at least three books.

As I am naturally lacking self-esteem, I have joined this site to see if the idea I have is interesting for readers, because the genre is rather a niche-one. Crossover between Cyber-punk, Diesel-punk and Fantasy is not common these days, is it? :)

I hope to write the books at least to prove myself I can do that. And if they find their way to readers' hearts, even for the better :)
