Those words are like magic to me. Why can't we live in the world that words give us? Why can't we fight alongside Robin Hood, sail with Davy Jones, or fly with Peter Pan? Stories make life so rich, and I love when I can escape into the world of someone else for a little while. Sure, I have to return to my own life eventually, but then I can do so with a twinkle in my eye, knowing that I just braved the battle room with Ender, or outwitted the prideful Darcy.

 Stories allow you to live deeper, see more, and love people you never might have known. They engage a deeper side of you, bring out a spirit of adventure. 

 Who cares if you are the quiet one in a room full of loud people? Katniss feels the same, and you still get to wander the forest with her. 

 I love writing because it allows me to set aside my life for a moment, and step into a world that I may only see in my dreams. I love each story I pen, and I hope you will too.
