A new year, and new resolutions. But first, an apology.

Over the last year, I had grand ambitions of finishing the third draft of Arvium, starting three other stories I've wanted to write, as well as maintaining more of an active presence with my readers and engaging with the Wattpad community as a whole.

But I didn't. I graduated from college and found a job, and then last month I started a different job. I grew as a human and figured out who I wanted to be as an adult, and what I wanted to do with my life. I crawled through some tough times, but now I'm standing on the top of my fears and seeing some hope about where I can go from here.

It is with this spirit that I am going to get back to writing again. Part of the problem was last year I was so focused on getting the Arvium revision perfect, that everything had to be just right, and writing stopped being fun. It stopped being a release and a passion, to a chore and a task. And so the revision halted and fumbled and snorted and choked along like a train with moss in its steam pipes.

So this year I plan to let go of the need for my books to be perfect. Yes, they will be as edited as I can be for a first draft. But this year I won't forget the most important part of writing--getting words on paper. Maybe they won't be the greatest words on paper. Maybe they won't even be that good. But every word I get on paper and out into the world is more than there was before, and I can only improve upon what it is already written.

So here is to 2020! And the freedom to make mistakes.

Hello everyone!

My laptop gave up its life a few weeks ago, after puttering along for an entire year, and left me without the ability to update. (Typing out a story on my phone is doable but not preferable to legible fiction). But now that I have a new laptop, you've probably already seen some changes...

I have published and am quickly writing/finishing a short novella based in the United Earth Consortium/Europan universe, almost 900 years into the future. It is called "The Prince of Europa" [contains no spoilers to the I.L.S. Beta Game Series]

I have settled some of the plot of "The Butler to a Super Villain" and hopefully chapters will be following shortly.

Two more chapters of "Arvium" have been updated, and another is on the way.

"Fates" has also had a chapter published. This is my foray into the fantasy genre, and while I do have an entire plot drafted, it is still rough and update will be slow until I iron out some of the kinks. But I plan to update this at times as well.

Only two more weeks to read the unrevised version of Arvium! (May 24, 2019)

After that, I will be unpublishing Arvium (for only a week so don't worry) so that I can update chapters with the revised version and move different chapters around. I also plan to have regular updates of the revised chapters moving forward.

In conjunction with a good friend of mine, we decided to write a cyberpunk thriller story using the already created tabletop-RPG world of Shadowrun. How would it be written? Through a way that might never have been done before--via an online, Discord-based RPG game. The plan was to gather the characters, collect them on Discord, explain the world and rules and ideas, have them create their characters according to the Shadowrun official character sheets, then present them with the plot of the story, one piece at a time. The reactions of the characters, their dialogue, their creativity would then be translated into fiction and shared chapter by chapter on the Wattpad main profile. Everyone participating would be credited in an acknowledgments page.

The first plot is plotted, and the main quest sketched out. Dozens of other missions are available for later books, short stories, one-offs, or practice missions.

These are the Runners, and this is their story.

I am so sorry everyone for the lack of updates. I had some things in life rearrange themselves and I was adapting to the new changes. But I've got them under control now and I have a drive to put out much more content, hopefully maybe even two updates a week, but we will see!
