@EKShortstories I like Inkitt they seem more focused on writing compared to Wattpad. It's the same though as far as getting noticed, you have to post constantly to get people to notice you.

It’s the fact that I have “SHERLOCK” fanfic and “Take Me to Church” still posted on here and one mentioned human trafficking and the other BDSM. Also, search “trafficking” on here, there’s a lot stories still posted that have controversial content inside, if not pure smut. A little annoyed, but still writing COLD CREEK, just on a different platform.

@EKShortstories Yeah, my guess is that there are so many books outright glorifying it that the site decided that, rather than try to sort the torture porn from books critiquing it or telling healing stories, they would just do a blanket ban to keep things simple.

@EKShortstories I may be reading between the lines a bit here, but I think you're the second writer this week that I've heard of this happening to. I learned the other day that the site doesn't allow books that depict sex trafficking in any form, even if the story critiques it and is about characters overcoming their circumstances. Makes me wonder if there's maybe something going on behind-the-scenes right now to find books on the topic and take them down. Hopefully they'll update the content guidelines to make that clear to everyone so folks don't spend a lot of effort writing and promoting books that appear to follow site rules but might be taken down because of unposted rules.
