The bartender’s ears twitched as the clock in the hotel chimed, mentally counting each ring after taking a swig of his cheap beer. It was in twelve in the morning. This was usually when Angel arrived back at the hotel from late night shifts so he started making Angel’s usual drink, every now and then glancing up at the large doors in hopes of seeing the spider.
