Am I the only one who obsessively makes playlists for my characters?

I always listen to music when I'm writing. It helps me focus on the scene, but I can't help get distracted when I find that one song that just IS the character.

This is all to say: If you're looking for something to listen to while reading, you'll find playlists for all my books under @ Drop D3ad Dork on Spotify. Maybe check it out?

RIP Sweetpea, our eldest bunny, who truly lived up to his name.

He was the sweetest loo-earred bunny I ever had the privilege to care for, and he will be missed dearly.

Wowie, Wattpad is having some problems rn.

I'm trying to do very small edits in one of my books, (adding a space here, or comma there) and it keeps scrolling all the way to the bottom, or all the way to the top.

It's definitely a problem when the chapter is 8000 words all together.

The app is all updated, and I've reset my phone. But it's just being difficult.

I now remember why I write everything in word and paste it over here.

Just saw the news regarding "Just Stop Oil" and Vincent Van Gogh's priceless painting "Sunflowers".

I, for one, am glad the two women were arrested, even though the painting itself was, thankfully, unharmed, due to the protective glass.

They glued themselves to a wall, and threw tomato soup at a piece of art history.

They caused property damage, end of.

There are better ways of garnering attention for the very good cause and beliefs they hold, and this was a lazy way of doing it that only made people angry.

Why try to destroy something beautiful with no link to your cause? Why distract people from the real problem by pulling a stunt like this?

And yes, I call it a stunt, because that's all it was at the end of the day. A temper tantrum to gain political attention.

This is NOT a way to show others that climate change needs to be taken seriously, along with the outragious inflation of our economy and lack of universal healthcare.

This is the same group who also glued themselves to a road and wasted precious time and resources of emergency services to try and safely remove the glue and get them out of harms way.

Who knows just how many people ACTUALLY needed life saving assistance, while they were "demonstrating" for a good cause.

I can't speak for the entirity of the "Just Stop Oil" movement, but I can say that if I were a part of the group, I would be extremely disaapointed and heartbroken that these misguided members were conducting themselves so poorly.

Vincent Van Gogh wasn't a rich man, he had no good standing reputation among his peers.

He was like many of us, facing mental illness, poor of health and wealth, with no one to support him other than a brother who didn't have the power to help him like he needed to be helped.

Even the mental health system that was in place failed him.

In trying to destroy his artwork, they are shooting themselves in the foot in the biggest way.

I wanted to let you know that "The Mummy: The Tomb Robbers Secret" is almost finished! I posted the second to the last chapter yesterday, and have written the rough draft to the final Chapter! Would love to have you give it a read! Thank you so much for reading my story.

Okay, I did not realize just how afraid of spiders I was until I started researching them for my book Reclusa.

I have got such creepy crawlies reading about venomous spiders. I can be around them fine, but if I start thinking about them too much my body starts making up imaginary spiders crawling up my legs and I just can't.

Hopefully the more I write about it, the less bothered by it I'll be.
