My friend came out to me today, and Im the second person she/they has ever told. Im not very familiar with a lot of the terms my friend identifies as, but I understand some of it. She/they hasnt told her parents yet and was scared to bring it up at school, and changed her/their name and pronouns (her, they) but since no one knows, no one refers to her/them as what she/they wants. I feel really bad about that, but the best i can do is respect what she wants and not hint at it in front of people. I already supported the LGBTQIA community, since one of my old friends has a brother whos trans, and her mom whos lesbian, and i want to support their family. Now i have even more reason to learn about the terms and what not. Anyway, my main point is Happy Pride Month, and lets make this a safe space ❤️
