@Beysotrill Nah I don’t think you understand friend…Jay-Z did own Tidal…through Project Panther (his holding company), which acquired ASPIRO in 2015 and made all major decisions. He wasn’t the CEO in title, but he was the public face, the majority owner and made executive decisions. Also, Nicki was never listed as a co-owner, despite her being onstage with them and used for Tidal promos. There’s no public record or confirmed paperwork proving Nicki Minaj or Onika Maraj had equity in Tidal. None. She wasn’t even on the official list of the 16 artists/co-owners announced at the 2015 launch.
So yeah, pointing fingers at Jay makes sense when he profited, controlled the platform, and silenced her to protect Meek, all while offering her scraps.
