Now- I came back cause tons of crazy stuff is happening at the mo. Queen Elizabeth died, the war in Ukraine is still happening, energy bills skyrocketing.
          	It all seems a little crazy.
          	Anyways, how is everyone doing? I’ve missed you- some more than others cause that’s the way life works and I don’t think I have reached the level of missing all 241 of you without some of you ever communicating with me…

DinaRiddle770

Sorry to hear that! Understood, good Lord, I hope you are managing the work load! Glad to hear it, I think I was at home when the Queen died. I’m good thanks, it’s a bit hectic with especially with A-levels this year, but other than that, pretty good

@DinaRiddle770 I’m good-ish right now I have COVID so I’m stuck in my room for the next few days but overall the school year started off pretty well my classes (knock on wood) aren’t too hard even though this year I have decided to be terrible to myself and take all honors and 2 languages. My summer was pretty good too but you are so right it is very crazy like I was in math class when we heard about Queen Elizabeth dying and the Ukraine war is still happening and oh my all of the energy, gas, electric bill stuff is so crazy. How are you?

I have been off for quite a while and I come back to see 240ish notifications, and that somehow I still have 241 followers. Shocked to see you guys didn’t flee (I use guys as a gender neutral term when implementing in slang, and please tell me that Wattpad allows Emojis now)

“White lives don’t matter. As white lives”-Professor Priyamvada Gopal
          I personally really dislike this statement. You can’t say that a certain people don’t matter. If you said that about any other people there would be outcries in the street. Why is it acceptable to say that? I think it is wrong.
          You don’t empower others by pushing others down.
          The professor says that her comment was ‘very clearly speaking to a structure and ideology, not about people.’
          Now as an intelligent person, I did not see any hint that this wasn’t speaking about a people. Maybe I missed something, do any of you understand this?

DinaRiddle770

Hey people,
          I’m thinking of making a bunch of short, about 1000 word, stories. If you have any prompts/ any genres you would like me to try out, please tell me! I’ve realised I am terrible at writing long stories, as I have zero commitment!

DinaRiddle770

@DisneyDonut7 That’s quite clever
            @BeelzebubsDevil agreed there, not to sure. At the moment I’m so busy with hmwk it is hard to find time where I decide to be productive instead of a potato

@DinaRiddle770 Ah commitment, my all time enemy. Short stories a load of fun to be honest, I often opt for them nowadays too because I am having trouble finishing long reads this time around. You can tell me which theme you're hoping to go for and I might have some prompts in mind.

@DinaRiddle770 it is exactly the same with me I start long stories but I don’t have time to just sit down and write. Also, for the prompts you could do some Harry Potter ones, or even just look on Pinterest or google for one shot ideas.

Ramadan Mubarak to all those who are observing Ramadan!
          I know @BeelzebubsDevil is, so best of luck to her! I cannot imagine fasting for around a month and only eating in the evenings. In Judaism I think the longest fast we have is around 25 hours- Yom Kippur- but our fasts are spaced out, rather than a month like this. So best of luck to all of you!

DinaRiddle770

Ah got it, that makes sense.

@DinaRiddle770 Eheheh I know it sounds a tad absurd but the actual execution of it is fairly easy, a lot easier than one would expect, most of the days you just don't feel the time pass. Admittedly, we can find some days difficult but it's usually due to external factors like a hotter temperature, boring time of work, etc. The iftar tables are always so massively rewarding though, honestly the amount of food is almost sinful. Especially with Arabs, personal portions is something we simply don't understand.

Hi everyone,
          Now this is a topic we don’t like to talk about at all in Judaism: the cult Lev Tahor.
          This is a horrific extremist cult that everyone in Judaism denounces. You can research them if you want, and it is absolutely horrific. Just horrific. I was just watching a video about them, and it chilled me to the bone.

DinaRiddle770

I’m baaaaaaaaack! For a few.
          Anyways- so much has been going on in the news recently. Like crazy stuff.
          Here are a couple things which weren’t as publicised:
          Yesterday, a terror attack happened in Israel where four people were killed.
          Afghan girls have again been removed from schools, after being let back as long as uniforms abided to sharia law and Afghan tradition.

          What do you guys think about transgender people and the olympics?
          I personally think they should make another category where anyone can compete in, as through no fault of their own, transgender women will typically be stronger than women who were biologically born as a woman. And transgender men will also struggle, as the vice verse is typically true. There probably isn’t a perfect solution to these issues, but as a society we need to think about these topics.
          What are your opinions?

DinaRiddle770

@Currypowder_  understood, that makes sense

@DinaRiddle770 speaking as an athlete, I'd say I'd think to leave them in their respective categories. I do agree with what Michael Phelps has said regarding that, people have a right to feel comfortable whoever they are, but everyone should also be on the same playing field as well
            since male-female biology leaves a pretty wide gap in sports that have some reliance on strength, that's my take on it

Hey Everyone,
          Hope you are all doing well, and thank you all for 244 followers- didn’t expect that!
          So the reason I’m back is to talk to you about the effect anti-Zionism, and therefore anti-semitism is having on me at the moment.
          From my previous posts you should notice that I’m pro the state of Israel. If you wonder why please look at the Holocaust for a really good reason as to why a state is needed for the Jews as an alternative. There are many more factors other than that of course, but I’m not planning on giving a whole history lesson here.
          I’ve managed to get into a taster day at a prominent university in England (where I live), and one of my first worries is about experiencing anti-semitism. I’m worried that there will be Free-Palestine campaigners who will say that Israel in an apartheid state and that I will freeze. I’m worried that I’ll see an anti-Israel display there. I’m worried about factors that are beyond my control.
          If you want to hear my side of this story you can ask me- but please do not yell at me. Give me the basic modicum of respect that you would like to be treated with.
          Anything else I would’ve typed would’ve been a history lesson. If you want one, I can even give you sources and analyse them for you- but most people don’t listen.

DinaRiddle770

After a while of deliberation it hit me that I’m no longer using Wattpad as a reading site, and as that was the reason I began here, I’m now gonna kinda leave from it- so I may turn up once in a while but nowhere near as often as I used to

DinaRiddle770

@BeelzebubsDevil true that, and will do- lmao, the second I decide to go on hiatus all of a sudden I’m back again
            @DisneyDonut7 awwwww thank you!

@DinaRiddle770 I think when someone has had an account for a long while they naturally deviate from whatever it was they originally joined for. Make sure to swing by me when you turn up once in a while, I’ll miss you.

When people ask, “Are you ok?” what answer are you expecting? I will often answer “yes,” because I don’t feel like explaining my issues, or how I hopefully will be ok someday. Why has society made that question the pinnacle of what to ask someone when they are obviously not “ok”.
          Brainstorm here what to ask instead!
          I’m thinking of asking, “hey, how are you feeling?”, and that gives a person some more leeway, because I don’t feel like anyone wants to say that they “aren’t ok”.

AHAlwaysHungry

@DinaRiddle770 yea it's also the same with when people are greeting you asking how you are doing? Most often or not people just say I'm fine, even if they aren't, I think as you said people don't feel like explaining their issues or don't want to burden them with their issues.
