Hey guys, so this is actually going to be a story review!

I was asked to review the story 'Her Returned Mate' a few days ago and I decided to give it a try.

The scene is set as the main character, whom is a werewolf, is orphaned and has been stranded at a temperamental home. Rayne is about to head off to a ball, with a few other intentions in tow. The tone that is created by the characters, Rayne and her less than ideal 'family', is one of no empathy, but involves an overall understanding of positions of power. It is clear that there is a hierarchy in the home, with the Alpha comfortably on the throne, not necessarily by popular demand. In that sense, it is easy to predict the situation.

Of course, there is a handsome prince to save the day, but there is a catch. In that regard, the story seems to be an attempt at a twist to a tale. That element reduces the predictability of the story and definitely creates an atmosphere of curiosity.

The whole idea is in sync with a Cinderella theme, but on a much more thought out scale. It is mature and definitely shows signs of being written by someone who has a deep understanding and knowledge of all things literature. The language is captivating, exciting and mysterious. Altogether it is a brilliant spin on a classic, done in an elegant manner.

          	Highly recommended and commended.
