Hello, all Insomnias. I think, well, today a bomb has definitely been dropped on us. With Handong, Dami, and Gahyun not renewing their contracts with DDC, this should be a moment in time where we all come together and just, well, take it in.
Although I have not been an Insomnia for as long as some other Insomnias have in the world of our precious Dreamcatcher talented ladies, I feel deeply affected by this new revelation brought upon us as a whole. Fandom, group, company, everything. I'm pretty sure we're all pretty sad to hear that most of our Maknae line is leaving the company. I can speak for myself when I say that I cried like a baby when I first found out after coming back from the hospital, which only ruined my day worse, but we should still continue to support our strong girls.
Dreamcatcher has not disbanded, but just knowing that Handong, Gahyun, and Dami's departure from the company is happening, it burns a hole in my heart—not to mention, group activities will IMMENSELY decrease, as their contracts end on March, 31. The next comeback, well, we don't know when it may happen.
Although they are leaving the company, Dreamcatcher will still be together as a whole, as they are all pursuing what they think is best for them, and I am very happy for them despite my personal melancholic view on all of what I've learned and explored given the topic today. All good things must come to an end, but that doesn't mean they must end forever.
Jiu, Sua and Yoohyeon will be together, debuting as a unit, UAU, although I don't know much about it, or how that might go, I will continue to support them entirely. Siyeon will debut in her rock band, and I will support her as well. Gahyun is interested in pursuing acting outside of DDC, which, obviously, I will support. And although Handong and Dami's interests outside of DDC are unclear, I, and all of us, should give them our full support in whatever they choose to do.

ALL, Insomnias need to step up, as this is a very rough time for both us and Dreamcatcher, a lot of things are left unsaid or unavailable, so I encourage you all to educate yourselves on what may be next for our girls.
I felt very sad with the news, I know group activities will go on, and Dreamcatcher will still be Dreamcatcher. But, as we see with Mamamoo and EXO, it's hard for groups like this to continue with group activities since, now, schedules will be altered, the members will be busier individually, and overall, it will be much more inconvenient to even produce a comeback or music together as a whole. Regardless with how things may work out, we should give them our undying love and support, encourage them to feel happy and empowered, because Dreamcatcher is forever.
I am not the most educated on this subject, as I am still taking this in and registering it myself, I guess we're all a little shell-shocked, thrown a bomb that's about to explode without any warning, but we'll get through this. Dreamcatcher will get through this. Jiu, Sua, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, Gahyun, will all get through this.
Let's show our girls some love and support and empower any of their future endeavors!
I returned to Reason this morning, feeling incredibly emotional, but I found peace in the way Dreamcatcher reminded us we will always be together forever. I can't lie, I laughed when I saw how the views skyrocketed a whole million, it seems a lot of Insomnias went to go see Reason again, we all must be pretty emotional. But I'm proud of our girls, on a personal note, I really care for them deeply, and they've saved me from dark paths more than once. So let's show our support for them together!
Always remember the words from REASON:
"We are always with Insomnia, we can spend more time together."
