My name is Clair Lajoie. Not my real name, but a name I choose to use for privacy. I live in Canada and my languages are English and French, although it's mostly English.

I am a writer with writer's block, unfortunately. What I mean is I have difficulty writing down my ideas in words, which is something that I am currently trying to overcome. I get ideas for stories all the time, but when it comes to sitting in front of the computer and type it or sitting at a desk and write it down, I go blank, because I usually don't know how to start. However, I am getting better at overcoming my writer's block, so I think I'm good.

Books and music are my inspirations, especially books. I read a lot, which to me, is a bad habit of mine, because I usually read at times where I am suppose to be paying attention to something else more important.

Some of my favorite others are Holly Black (Author of Tithe & Valiant and Co-Author of the Spiderwick Chronicles), Kelley Armstrong (Author of the Darkest Powers & Darkness Rising trilogies) and Kathy Reichs (Author of the Bones & Virals series). Not only do their stories have amazing plots that leave you wanting more, but their creativity and technique invade your mind with endless imagination. I love those kinds of stories.

Other than my book-favorites, I am currently addicted to K-pop and Asian dramas. I have watched so many dramas in Chinese, Korean and Japanese and I can even link all the shows and movies I've watched; from American to Chinese to Korean to Japanese and back to American, Seriously, I can do it. I know a lot of foreign actors and actresses that have been in more than one movie together. It's a small world in the film industry.

@Akira_Misaki You're welcome! I don't read many good Japanese-fiction stories. I always have ideas for them, but I don't know enough about Japanese culture to write them.
