I just went around talking about how stupid peacocks are, breeding with ones that have big and color feathers so they're easier to see, and they can't even run away because of how big their feathers are

          Dream CANNOT hate, that isn't a thing for dream, he doens't even have the CAPACITY to be a villain.
          Everyone paints Dream in a negative light (Well, not everyone, but in most stories I've read) LIKE I MEAN, COME ON, REALLY?
          He's not self centered, due to trauma because he was told by the villagers to help them, and if he didn't, he was selfish.
          HE WAS RAISED TO BE TOLD IF HE DIDN'T HELP SOMEONE WITH THE SLIGHTEST THING, HE'D BE SELFISH
          HE WAS RAISED TO NOT SAY NO, BECAUSE SAYING NO WOULD BE SELFISH. GOODNESS. PEOPLE HATE ON DREAM FOR ABSOLUTLY NO REASON AT ALL, DREAM HAS AN EQUAL AMOUNT, IF NOT MORE, TRAUMA THAN HIS BROTHER.
          IT WAS HIS BROTHER'S CHOICE TO EAT THOSE APPLES. ALONG WITH THAT, NIGHTMARE CAN'T GET TRAUMATIZED ANYMORE(WELL AS MUCH AS DREAM) BECAUSE HE'S DEAD.
          WHEN HE ATE THE APPLES, HE DIED, AND INSTEAD WAS A GOO-Y OCTOPUS WHO TORTURES (NO NOT KILL) INNOCENT PEOPLE. DREAM HAS ALL THE RIGHT TO KILL THE PARASITE YET HE DOESN'T.
          NIGHTMARE AND DREAM NEED TO BE EQUALLY LOVED, I SWEAR GOODNESS GRACIOUS
          BUT YEAH, SO DREAM WAS OVERWORKED AS A CHILD, BLAMES HIMSELF FOR NIGHTMARE BECOMING CORRUPTED, LOST HIS BROTHER, AND TO TOP IT OFF, HE WAS IN STONE FOR 500. YEARS. 
          HE STILL HAS THE MINDSET OF A 5 OR 7 YEAR OLD, NOT SOME WISE ENTITY OR GROWN MAN PEOPLE PAINT HIM TO BE

Okay, sorry guys, I'm just gonna vent abt dreamtale and its stereotype for a sec because I just neeed to get it off my chest
          
          CW: Childhood trauma for characters
          I've seen videos that were like, y'know, dream being suprised abt Nightmare being bullied because he didn't know. 
          But canonically, Dream DID know, and would talk to the villagers to try to get them to stop bullying Nightmare. Along with that, people paint Dream has having the best life, when in reality he was used by villagers for several different things, and constantly be driven away by the villagers so he couldn't talk to his brother.
          Meanwhile, Nightmare didn't TELL dream how bad the bullying was because he had really bad pride issues or something, I mean, COME ON.
          Thing is? They both were like 5-7 or something, FIVE OR SEVEN. 
          Thing is? Dream feels guilt over what happened even tho it wasn't even HIS fault. Like GOODNESS.
          and then there's the whole shattered stereotype for dream
          HE CAN'T EVEN HOLD THE NEGATIVITY APPLE, IT WOULD TURN INTO A POSITIVITY ONE. ALONG WITH THAT, ALL THE NEGATIVITY APPLES WERE EATEN BY NIGHTMARE.
          PLUS, EVEN IF DREAM COULD, HE WOULDN'T.-
