@Jellybean95 Hey. I agree and I think people on here are getting better at leaving comments. It's hard to change people's mindset, but I think the more we comment on other writers work, the more writers will get into the practice of commenting and encouraging each other. :)

Loved what you wrote about commenting, sinceI love to read and talk about it sometimetimes I feel like I comment to much but there is so much in a story that grabs my attention that I tend to comment on each page.Thank you for making a person feal.good about talking about what they love about the authors book.

If only everyone thought and commented like you my friend, then wattpad would be a far more rewarding experience and we would all improve greatly in our writing skills and craft.

I so agree about the comments! It is odd when you have 2000 reads and 10 comments...then you have no idea if these people thought what you wrote was brilliant or should meet Mr Trash Can. Comments do help so very much, I wish more people would take the time to drop a few words than just tossing a vote and leaving it at that. I value comments more than votes. :)

Me too. It's always nice to get a vote though, but comments carry far more weight and mean more to me. :)

I couldn't agree more with you about people leaving comments. I really think some people on this site don't understand that! Who cares if your story has a million reads and votes if you got them all by just exchanging or whatever. It's not like some publisher is going to come along and give you a fortune for it's rights. Just the opposite actually. What this site is good for is like you said constructive crit on your work so you can become a better writer. Even leaving a short comment on what you liked or disliked is fine. /rant
