I am a reader, much more than a writer. I used to occasionally proofread technical documents written by Chinese, French, Japanese, and of course English authors, along with my own occasional technical writing, as a small part of my job, before I retired.  Cancer struck, but for the moment it appears that I beat it.
If an author wants, I could proofread an interesting story, either for continuity, or grammar and spelling, suggesting corrections, but it is a rare author who is willing to ask for this. I also can offer suggestions in technical matters, battles, science fiction, religion, Christianity (the last two aren't the same) and other areas.  Once in a while I suggest something that an author actually uses.
I like cats.  Dogs are OK, but if a cat likes you, it is as though you have earned it.  Who is the owner? Well, who cleans up who's poop?  Besides, dogs have owners, cats have staff.
I am a Christ follower. He knows me, with all my ugly faults and failures, but He loves me anyway. Amazing!
