I just had the best WoF theory ever! So, here's my theory. Carnelian actually survived the explosion, it just put her into a coma. When Umber and Sora fled the school, they came across the cliff where the SkyWings left her body. Around this time, she woke up. She was furious with the SkyWings and with everyone at Jade Mountain for believing she was dead. So, she decided to come with Umber and Sora. The three of them were fugitives together, and then later Umber and Carnelian fall in love. (fine, this theory is just mostly an excuse for me to ship UmberxCarnelian. :P ) Anyways, I'm going to try and update some things this weekend!
