Due to the very high volume of emails we generate for broadcast email notifications, we are having technical issues with several major providers. This volume has also reduced our ability to solve delays on all email notifications.
As a means of correcting this problem our team is redirecting broadcast notifications from email to your notifications feed. This is the first step in ensuring writers successfully reach the readers they want to, and readers see meaningful updates in a way that makes sense to them. Please do note that this is the first iteration and we will be working on these notifications to find the best way to view or sort them moving forward.
If you have received notifications from Wattpadders you prefer not to see updates from you can always unfollow the Wattpadder so you no longer see these updates.
We are also aware that the broadcast message notifications are currently worded in a way which implies that Wattpadders have posted on your profile when they have only posted on their own profiles, so we are looking into getting this error fixed ASAP.
