The light bent, blue, glowing across my blade. The trees whispered their praises, while the wolves weaved their howls across the dusky sky. My feet made no sound as I walked towards the crackling of an innocent fire. The moon watched the fire as two men sat by. A savory smell wafted off their fresh kill. They stuffed the meat into their eager awaiting mouths. Beside the two thief's lay their treasure, one bag of measly gold gleaming red with blood. Cocking my head ever so slightly to the side, I surveyed the scene.
Smirking in one instant, and in the next, my whistling blade proclaimed the first thief's demise. The other after seconds of delay, swore and looked for his weapon. My sword hummed, as I tapped it against the branch of the tree. When the poor man had finally gotten hold of his weapon; I finally sprang upon him somersaulting down in one graceful swing. Although he was ready for me, I made the first move: ducking to avoid his lousy attempt at aggression. I back-flipped out of the way with time to spare, brandished my twin daggers. I smiled once more.
Suddenly out of the woods came four more young men. They all wore heavy armor. They smirked as they saw who was facing them. But before anyone could attack, I sprinted at the nearest two, daring them to attack with my eyes. The both took my bait and swung at the same time. Just as the swords were about to hit, I jumped with one leg on each sword I swung my own daggers the cutting the throats of the surprised men. The other three men that had been standing know rushed at me in a wave. Luckily a tree was near by, I used the nearest branches as handle-bars and kicked the three still standing to the ground. They groaned and were still. The moon shifted her gaze and all was silent once more.
