After a spinal cord injury in 2009, I retired from the CPA business, and sadly had to give up my creative outlet too: woodworking. In writing, I found a new outlet for my muse. I got serious about it in 2013 and published my "first" novel in July 2014 on Amazon's KDP platform. 

I unpublished the book in January 2015, not because of sales. I sold about a hundred copies and some weren't to friends and family. I came to realize how much I didn't know about writing and knew I could do better. I haven't given up on the novel and continue to edit and revise it. Who knows, it might get done this year. 

In the meantime, I'm honing my craft by writing short fiction and beta-reading. If you've read this far, thank you. I hope you'll find something I've written worth a read and a comment.
