Details regarding chapter updates and why I had left Wattpad
Home has been chosen for continuation which is good news. Bad news is that my computer just became unusable today and my phone broke since last month. I won’t be doing chapters on my iPad, which is what I’m using, simply because I’m not in the best mental state and might risk breaking it only to regret it. Also I’m unable to use the fonts(B I U), align text, add photos or videos, nor at anyone on iPad(I just found out when typing this). It sucks a lot and I hate going back on my words but the situation doesn’t really allow me to keep it. I will try to update as soon as possible, if it can be within this month.
Context, after I graduated I planned to take a gap year to relax. This is because school has drained me and didn’t allow me to write stories with imagination while also ruining my mental health to dangerous degrees. This had majorly contributed to the reason why I publicly stated I’m leaving Wattpad, because I hadn’t expected myself to still be here. In the end, I ended up going to AO3 where I suddenly wrote a book in the middle of a depressive episode. Eventually moving back to finish STARS since I was back in writing business.
I am currently residing in my country side home where my guardian promised to take me back to the city after a month. This was a willing decision by me since this is where I felt most free and where my dogs are. Though, today marks the third month of me being here. In an isolated town where the nearest 7/11 is 45mins to an hour away(and I don’t have a car). So I can’t guarantee my computer or phone would take priority at the moment since the correct way to describe my situation is ‘stranded’.
In summary, your author is unstable with undiagnosed and diagnosed mental health issues who is stranded with a broken phone and broken laptop. Can’t write chapters but plans to continue Home when can.
