Happy Juneteenth everyone! I’m very excited this became a national holiday. It’s a very historic day that need to be remembered. Awesome video about Juneteenth if you want to know more: https://youtu.be/6FX-Iisvrj8

Naya Rivera.

If anyone has watched Glee, then you’ll probably know her as Santana Lopez. She has been confirmed dead after going missing during a boating trip with her 4-year-old son.

I am so deeply saddened by this news. Glee is one of those shows that I always rewatch. Her character, Santana, provided representation for me and my family. As we are Latina. I also loved how her character didn’t scream “gay”. Don’t get me wrong, I love Kurt. He’s one of my favorite characters if not my favorite. But he does follow a lot of the gay stereotypes. Santana doesn’t. She shows that not all LGBTQ+ people are the same. We all have different personalities. We all look different. And that’s okay.

Of course I didn’t know her personally, but she is a big part of my childhood. And I bet she was an amazing person. Definitely taken way too soon.

My sincerest condolences to her family. I can’t even begin to imagine their pain.

I’ll being posting a new chapter on my Jarchie book by the end of Tuesday, and then I will go back to focusing on my Deception book (as I will be entering it into the Wattys 2020).

2020 has been filled with so much pain. So please. Take care of yourselves. Much love ❤️

Literally just learned today is the day Cory Monteith was found dead seven years ago. May they both rest in peace somewhere better together

I’m incredibly sorry. I just keep getting distracted. I know that’s a lame excuse but I really don’t know. My school is not taking it easy on us during this shutdown. I wish I could elaborate more, and I might make a post about this, but I just really don’t know when things slow down enough for me to write. I’m so incredibly happy you love my book. And thankful that you and many others took the time to read it. I’m really going to try and get out by the end of the day Sunday. If not sooner. Again I’m incredibly sorry for the wait.
