I grew up without a place to call home. No family to share with, no steady presence to lean on. Just silence, and the weight of figuring things out alone. Loneliness wasn't a phase-it was the backdrop. But somewhere in that quiet, I found art. Drawing became my way through. It was the one space that listened without asking, held me without judgment. I started with fan art-characters that felt like friends, worlds that felt safer than my own. Pokémon especially gave me comfort: soft forms, bright colors, stories of growth and connection. I drew them over and over, not just for fun, but to feel less alone. Comics followed. I'd collect them, get them dubbed, study their rhythm and emotion. They taught me how to tell stories with structure and heart. That love eventually led me into production work-helping shape narratives from behind the scenes, building meaning from fragments. Art gave me peace. It gave me language when I had none, and connection when I had no one. Now, sharing my work is how I reach out. My audience, my friends-they're the only people I have. And that's enough. Because every piece I make carries a part of me, and every time someone sees it, I'm a little less alone.
