Dear @Comic Cop,
It is I, Red55King.
I’m working on a new crossover story idea, and I’d really like your opinion on it. The project is called Death’s Eclipse, and it brings together two worlds: the Netflix anime series Castlevania and the anime/manga Dead Mount Death Play.
The story begins right after the fall of Carmilla’s castle, where Isaac, Hector, and a portion of their night creature legion are suddenly pulled into modern-day Japan — arriving at the exact moment the Corpse God is reborn in his new human body. At first, there’s a language barrier and mutual suspicion, but soon they recognize something familiar in each other’s powers.
Instead of fighting to destroy one another, they slowly form an alliance. Together, they attempt to survive — and maybe even build a new life — in Tokyo. Of course, this won’t be easy. They’ll have to navigate crooked cops, ruthless gangsters, ambitious crime bosses, and supernatural threats hiding in the shadows of the city.
The big theme is adaptation: ancient necromancers and night creatures trying to understand a world of neon, science, and modern corruption. What seems like magic to them, we know as technology. But survival forces them to bridge their worlds and learn.
I’d love your thoughts on how to make this crossover not just work, but shine. You’ve got a great eye for balancing character depth, pacing, and world-building, and your feedback could help shape Death’s Eclipse into something truly special.
Looking forward to hearing what you think!
Sincerely,
Red55King
