My name in Cody Pearce and I'm a writer and producer living in Los Angeles. Most of my recent writing has focused on screenplays and teleplays. I won the grand prize for the 2015 Table Read My Screenplay Contest for my sci-fi short "Rare Model," which has been shot and is in post production. Other screenwriting accolades include finishing in the Second Round of the 2015 Austin Film Festival Screenwriting Competition and making it to the semi-finals in the 2015 Screencraft Horror Screenplay Contest. The first three pages of my sci-fi pilot "The Signal" appeared as a Three Page Challenge entry on the Scriptnotes podcast with John August and Craig Mazin. Side note: I highly recommend all writers check out this podcast. John and Craig have done hundreds of episodes now, providing a wealth of knowledge on storytelling and life in general. 

I've recently returned to fiction and will be posting some of my short stories on here to see if they connect with readers. Any and all comments are welcome.
