UPDATE (PT 2)
…while i was gone, the biggest obstacle that kept me from returning to my writing has been in the form of a spiral i fell into which consisted of: studying, depression, and author’s block to put it simply. another big thing that has metaphorically slapped me in the face when it came to reading my old writing was the ABSOLUTE CRINGE i experienced from reading my old publications (LMAO). it has been quite a challenge trying to figure out a way to continue old publications with horrible writing with my more polished and decent writing i have acquired throughout my years in high school lol. if one remembers correctly, i began writing on here at the age of 14… FOURTEEN OMG!!! at the age of 18, reading my previous writing is mentally draining to the point of wanting to either delete everything or start something new without finishing my previous works… however i know whatever is left of my readers would not appreciate that which is why i’ll finish my stories and continue writing! i know i basically sound like a broken record at this point because this is not the first time i say this, but four years later, it’s become evident to me that this is something i want to continue doing for another while :) it will take a minute to be 100% back on track but i will definitely do so. i also want to thank you for sticking around in the midst of my absence and for supporting my writing years later :) you’ll definitely hear back from me on here :)
