Where did you do your book covers?

Fun question! The last book cover I made for wattpad was back in 2018, and now I’m literally at uni studying graphic design. Back then I used apps on my iPhone or iPad. Superimpose for masking and merging photos together, Repix for special effects and Phonto for fonts (and the fonts I usually downloaded from Dafont). And then for major colour correction and edits I used Polarr or Lightroom (free version) I have no idea how these apps work today, but back then they were a great alternative for me who didn’t want to splurge on Adobe etc. However, today I am very much an Adobe lover and would recommend creative cloud to anyone who wants to edit and create digitally, especially photoshop, Lightroom or illustrator (even though it is definitely a learning curve!). But if you’re just starting out - begin with apps and programs that are cheap and easy to learn❤️

Hiya!
It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here. But I’ve recently found my will to write again, and somehow I’ve written an entire chapter. It’s going to be a book following the relationship of Rue and Dom. Exciting, right?

However, as much as I like writing things in a straight time line, I fear this book will jump around a lot. I could of course write it in the correct order, but that would take time and the chapter I’ve just written is like in the middle of the timeline so I wouldn’t get to publish that for a long, long time. And I feel like maybe I’d find a bit more joy in writing if I could just pick a time in their life, and write what happens at that time.

But, I have made a timeline of what is going to happen. So I have something to lean back on.

Would you all be alright with the book being a little jumpy, time-wise?❤️ Or would you rather me try to write it in the correct order?

@alai6281 Glad to heat! I know I’ve been a little silent here lately, but I always get excited when I see you posting❤️ And I think I am actually leaning towards posting the story with lots of time jumps
