I had a nightmare. My dream was like one building. Each floor resembled a building, a cabin, a mansion and a office building. Each floor has only one monster that roams the building, the monster was fit to match each setting, a maid with her insides hanging out, and no face, was the mansion, a creature similar to the rake but more bearlike was the cabin, and a simple man in a uniform, with a disfigured face, a car stapled to his chest, each monster could not see but only hear. Only way out. was to either die or leave through the door you entered, but the doors were locked until you found a special item, it was randomized to match each floor. It felt so real, I could feel the air, the walls, everything, the smell, sounds, I even felt each death. I woke up after dying, but when I made it through the doors, I just blinked and was in front of the door for the next floor. Im not a heavy sleeper, never was, I was a light sleeper, but my dad couldnt wake me up for an hour while I was dreaming this, I only woke up when I managed to get out of the third floor. I genuinely was freaked the fuck out. I didnt even want to fall asleep and miss class like I normally do. The strange thing is, all my dreams that I remember are the ones that happen again. I had a dream that continued on for years, it was about me and two people who were my best friends, (not actual people, just my dream best friends) and we would go on adventures where were trapped at sea, the last dream was when we found a way home, and we left to go home. Saying our last good byes, when I woke up I actually cried not because I knew it was fake, but because I missed them and I had that feeling I wouldnt see them again. I KNEW them. I grew up with them. Which was weird, because they were only dreams. The ones that I remember are the ones that, I felt were real, that I could feel a connection in them. Im probably just over exaggerating but im scared to even fall back asleep now. I will be gone for a long time.
