Update: So, I've been thinking, as I've been writing the first book of The Duration Saga (TDS now), that I could put out the chapters of another fanfic I started. About a year ago, when the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars was coming out, I got inspired on my drive back to college to write a fanfiction about one of my OC's in this fandom. Would any of my followers be interested in reading a couple rough chapters of it? I'll be posting it anyway to see if any Star Wars Wattpaders would like the idea, but I'd like to hear y'all's feedback as well!

Also, sorry that it's been a while once again! I've recently graduated from college, and a lot has been going on here at home since, so sorry about my absence! The Duration Saga is still in works, I'm working on an outline for book one so that I can go ahead and start writing!

I've also cross-posted the preview book of TDS on AO3, and I'm hoping to get some feedback there as well! You are welcome to check out my profile on there if you are interested, a link will be posted in my About here.

Also, if people are interested in the Star Wars fanfic, I'll get back to writing it! I want to finish it so bad, but have been so busy. But, since the new animated series The Bad Batch came out, I've been more inspired than ever to finish the story!

Hi, you probably already have forgotten me. I contacted you 4 years ago asking your permission to share some ideas from your story, and so glad that you agreed to it.

Unfortunately my story was written half way and I got in a big trouble because of it, and I had to retract the whole thing. It was honestly all my fault.

4 Years later I'm back here and ready to post the full story, because it's too good to waste. Your contribution in this story is priceless. It adds so much more realism into this story. I sincerely thank you for that!!

Right now I am posting one chapter each weekend. I figure probably by the time you see this message, the whole story is already out. I don't think I will promote this story, so the views and comments will be near 0, please don't mind them.

The story is pretty good by my standard, which is kinda low. :D But I really hope you will read it. It has only 8 chapters, and if the first chapter is not to your liking, you don't need to read the rest.

Surprise, I've got a preview for the first D.S. book for you guys coming today! It won't be much, but I do have a couple things to upload that can introduce you older readers as well as new readers to the story that is to come! I've got the cover done, as well as the blurb, and what I will upload are a couple of pieces giving background information regarding one character who will be central to the plot, as well as some history! I will upload one now, and keep an eye out for the others later today!

As of now, I am officially done with school! Graduation is in a couple months, so until then, I'm going to take a few weeks to relax and finally write creatively! I will finish up the worldbuilding that took a pause because of my capstone project, and continue with the outline of the first D.S. book. Just wanted to pop in here and update you all!

@naala233 Thank you! This last semester went well! It was weird, because I've been doing school virtually and missed being there in person, but it still went smoothly. Crossing my fingers that the capstone gets a good grade! Thanks for asking!

Update: As of right now, I'd say the worldbuilding for book one is getting there. I am in the middle of my last year of college, so my schedule's packed with assignments. Currently, I am working on my capstone project, which is super important for graduation, so progress on DS will slow for now. Probably around mid-March, I'll be able to get back to work on the first book! Just thought I'd let you all know!

So, worldbuilding is intense, to put it short, haha. I am what you call a "pantser," and if you don't know, I'm basically a writer who does not like outlining her books. I tend to just go with the flow, and let book ideas come to me during the writing process. It has worked fine for me for years, however, now I see why worldbuilding has always been a bit of a pain, because instead of planning and mapping the world out, I kind of just let it live on in my mind, and well, in there, the story is always evolving. Every day, new mini piles of sticky notes would pile on my desk of new ideas for what the cities of this series, Rosswood and Ebbot, would be like, and how things worked with the culture and lore surrounding them both, as well as how the Gerenia family's situation affected these places.

Recently, I discovered a Youtuber, Sara Lubratt, and her videos chronicling her journey going from a pantser to outlining her works. I highly suggest watching her writing videos, they're very relatable and helpful! A few videos in particular caught my eye, when she decided to try and outline like J.K. Rowling did for her Harry Potter series. Lubratt went off the template for Order of the Phoenix that has been posted online. Called a 'series grid,' this outline goes chapter by chapter of a novel, detailing the timeline for each chapter, specific character pov's, and the important events that take place. I was surprised at how simple, yet orderly this outlining form was, and I have decided to experiment with that for writing "No Return," after I compile all my general worldbuilding notes together. J.K. Rowling is one of my greatest writing inspirations, and one of the first big stories I wrote was a Harry Potter fanfiction, because I loved that series so much. I'm excited to try this form of outlining, and hopefully, it can get this pantser to write a more detailed and organized story.

I'll keep you guys updated on this little journey, and maybe it can help inspire you too!

Duration Saga update: Final edits for the Preview book have been completed! Lots of big changes have been made to its chapters --especially "Cursed," "Lost Soul," and "Lone Soul." A new chapter has also been added and I encourage you guys to check them all out! There is much better character development and point of view, and new ideas presented for the series as a whole.

I want to deeply apologize, specifically to my older followers if you guys read this, for not publishing the first book of the series, called "No Return." My writing has been changing and evolving a lot over the past couple years as I have been taking classes at university, and as a result, D.S. has undergone drastic, wonderful changes to make it the series it is supposed to be. If I had published this back when I was hoping to, let's just say it would not be great, and I would have been disappointed looking back over it later. But this is all part of the unpredictable life I asked for when I wanted to become a writer, so I do not regret the work I have been doing.

Finally, happy 2021 to all of you, and I hope and pray this year is more peaceful, healthy, and productive than 2020 was. I will continue to post updates on my progress on No Return, and I do promise, it will be published! But I will take my time, and ensure that it is my best writing, as I want all my projects from D.S. and on to be.
