@RaeKitano Oh my gosh, summer just came here (finally) Wow, that's amazing advice it's really great is what it is, luckily it makes me even more confident in my decision. I would've never thought of getting married before finishing college you know, but Rodney was so sweet, he just told me:
Chandra, we can wait like everyone else but I think that's really dumb. I love you and I know that's not going to change in five-ten-twenty or even one thousand years. I have no doubts in us and that's why I want us to be married.
He gave me the puppy dog eyes and I said yes. We're pretty good about the whole compromise thing. It's been pretty smooth sailing. We've argued about a few things and had a fight about the dogs (in the middle of Petco), it was really stupid and actually pretty comical but we both took it to heart and pouted for awhile. But found ourselves laughing about it over ice cream later that night :)
Thank you so much, it's always really good to hear- read your advice mama. I missed you <3

We are all good this side of the world. Cold but it is winter here.
I can;t believe you guys got married. So young - borrowed this from something someone should me the other day. I think it's great -

Most people get married believing a myth--that marriage is a beautiful box full of all the things they have longed for: companionship, sexual fulfilment, intimacy, friendship. The truth is that marriage, at the start, is an empty box. You must put something in before you can take anything out. There is no love in marriage; love is in people, and people put it into marriage. There is no romance in marriage; people have to infuse it into their marriages.

A couple must learn the art and form the habit of giving, loving, serving, praising--keeping the box full. If you take out more than you put in, the box will be empty.

You guys make sure you stick through the good and bad times. As someone who has been with her partner for 25 years I can say there were times when quitting was the easy way out. But working together and getting through the bad times definitely makes a relationship stronger. (Plus I tell my husband there is no way he is ever getting rid of me now, it's too hard starting over again, so he's now got me for life. He says it goes both ways. We're happy) I wish you both happiness too <3

So I finally updated after nearly a full year. Wow. I am really sorry. Life gets busy, you know. I graduated high school, got married (yeauh I'm married to my wonderful boyfriend after a year no joke), got a cat and dog after moving into our own apartment, found a new job. Just growin up, but I'm back so what's up guys :3
