            Don’t worry about your writing — I still love it, and after this chapter I love Gaella even more. I love how smart she is and how she cares about the smallfolk and Tarth (I’m sure Aemon and Baelon would have loved her), and I also love her bond with Helaena. Aemond does worry me a bit though (does he love her or hate her? Hard to say). Can’t wait for the next chapter! ;)

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I was a bit rusty writing it, but I hope the little hints and clues in it make sense later on!

@CelestialBirdZ Gaella Targaryen will have to die at some point, as is the fragile nature of human life. All I can say, to hopefully reassure you, is that kindness begets kindness: it is its own strength and its own reward :)

@CelestialBirdZ It would be silly of me to either confirm or deny your theory, because where would the fun be in that! I think the most important thing to remember about Gaella is who she is as a person, as well as everything that surrounds her. Her parents were written into the story for a reason, she claims Vermidion for a reason, each and every thing in the book was painstakingly deliberated on and it will, not for a long time yet sadly, but nonetheless will hopefully become clear in time. :)

            To be honest, I have no clear ideas about Gaella's future. You could change the ending of the Dance of the Dragons or leave it as it is and focus on the impact of the civil war on Gaella, who would have lost most of her family. I have a small theory: after the Dance of the Dragons, Gaella would have a significant impact on her family and Westeros(Idk how ) because the fanfiction is written like a history book that recounts all the events of her life.

@CelestialBirdZ There is a strength in being soft, and Gaella undoubtedly demonstrates that. That strength will come to play an important role soon enough 

@Parma_Violas  It's true ,that it's great to see a deeply good character who has her own morals and her own convictions. Despite the painful stages of her life at such a young age that would have broken any other character, she knew how to remain a good person, this is the sign of great strength. She reflects the best part of the Targaryen house which proves that you can be fierce and strong but also good.
            (I think if I had to choose a side in this civil war it would be Gaella's)

@CelestialBirdZ That makes me so happy to hear! I think in a world of morally grey or black characters who are interested only in themselves, it was a refreshing and welcome idea to have a family of morally white characters who do the right thing without any concern for self gain. Her character is one that embodies the idea of kindness as a strength, not a weakness
