i have a ton i'll never actually finish but would totally read!
- a soulmate au where your soulmate has a strand of your hair in theirs, and vice versa. the mc has an absurd hair strand, and goes around knowing nobody there will ever be able to be her s.m. she finds them one day in the most random and surprising of places, and doesn't want to believe it. (i was going to write a SQUIP book with this, but never finished it)
- a youtuber/avenger/whatever related to a famous musician, and knows how to play instruments pretty well. she does the background music for her relative (i imagine itd be her brother) while struggling to keep up with her own life. (i originally planned for this to be a love story based off of the 'i like me better' song, as the musician was LAUV)
- the mc is a neutral looking individual, making all their co-workers question their gender. their love interest/whatever floats your boat falls for them while trying to figure it out. the mc only reveals it when they confess love/whatever. (originally planned for a marauders era hp fic, but works with anything)
- someone important leaves the mc's life because they did something stupid, and the mc is too stubborn to apologize. months later, after no contact at all for a while, the mc buys a rubix cube from dollar tree/general/etc to ease their boredom. the cashier warns them of its powers, but the mc is too blind to care. as soon as they leave, they mess around with it, realizing the things takes them to an alternate universe. in the new au, they try to prevent their breakup/etc from happening, but ends up killing/ruining them. the mc cries and all that, picking up the rubix cube, realizing how terrible it is, and breaks it. they wind up back in their og universe, and go to their former friend/etc's house, thinking theyre dead. when they see that theyre still alive/etc, the mc cries and apologizes. (i always had this to where at the end they kiss and make up, them realizing how dumb the feud was)
