I'm an avid reader. If I may say so myself. I mostly read historical fiction and romance. For the past few years, though, I've mostly read manga. I was looking for a specific kind of story. Since I couldn’t find it, I eventually decided to do it myself! I love all the tropes. One of my favorites is the superstud who's monogamous and only smitten with the female lead. However, I always wondered how they can be so exceptionally skilled if they never really cared for romance before. Or are they, in fact, not the romantic who could never sleep with anyone without feelings?
After endlessly searching for ‘my’ superstud, I created him myself. He's inexperienced; he's not a natural. But he's so adorable!
There are so many stories out there, and I've read so much that plots usually don't surprise me much anymore, and that's fine. I com for the characters, for the spice. I get that there are only so many stories one can tell. The uniqueness comes from the author’s experience and how that bleeds into the story.
With my story, I’m using this approach: just as the four bases of DNA make up complex proteins depending on their sequence, I use all the tropes I love and hate, reshuffle them, and weave them into a story that is somewhat cartoonish, tragic, and funny.
I hope you will enjoy reading my take on the genre that I love so much! Isekai
