In case you haven't heard the news, I took a short hiatus to re-outline The Leaving Begins, and in the process the plot COMPLETELY changed, most of the characters were cut or showed their true colors, and the result is something I'm quite happy with.
The first three new sections are up--a prologue/flash forward, and two short chapters. I intend to post every week, and so far that has been working out.
No more meandering into palaces for no apparrent reason.
Just plain, fun, first-draft adventure and epic friendships.
If a (fictional) city gets burned down in the process, please don't come for me.

If you hate Rasti - I'm sorry. Yes, it happened again; I sat down to write another chapter of The Leaving Begins, and an hour later I had a beautiful (horrible?) chapter written in Rasti's perspective. I don't want to feel sorry for him.
But he's not the worst person in the book anymore.

If you hate spiders - I'm sorry. The Maije in the Mud is the latest chapter of The Leaving Begins, and I'm not ashamed to say it's one of my favorite things I've every written.
There are rats as well.
Last week’s chapter of The Leavig Begins just got a Fatal new update! It came to me in the middle o a slump, and now the last three paragraphs give the whole thing actual MEANING and lead us into the rest of the plot.

New story alert! NAZRI LIVES is a shorter-form story about the descent of one of my absolute favorite characters. It’s the first in a collection called Before the Leaving, which (you guessed it) take place before The Leaving Begins.
